Privacy Policy — AlcoStat

Effective date: 31 August 2026

Short version

AlcoStat does not collect your data. Everything you record stays on your device. There are no servers, no accounts, no analytics, and no advertising.

Who we are

AlcoStat ("the Application") is developed and published by Andrey Shestakov ("we", "us", the "Service Provider"). We are an individual developer based in the Russian Federation, and we are the data controller for the purposes of the GDPR — although, as explained below, we do not hold any personal data about you. You can reach us at AlcoStatApp@gmail.com.

What we collect

Nothing.

AlcoStat has no backend servers, no user accounts, no analytics or telemetry, no advertising, no tracking technologies, no cookies, and no third-party SDKs of any kind.

Everything you enter — drink records, templates, reasons, goals, and settings — is stored locally on your device using Apple's Core Data framework. This information is never transmitted to us or to anyone else.

We therefore do not collect, receive, store, sell, or share any personal information about you.

Information about alcohol consumption

Records about alcohol consumption may be considered health-related information, and in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom they may qualify as a special category of personal data under Article 9 of the GDPR.

Because this information never leaves your device and we have no technical means of accessing it, we do not process it in any way. You remain the only person with access to it.

Subscriptions and payments

AlcoStat Premium is sold as an auto-renewable subscription through the Apple App Store.

The entire purchase is handled by Apple. We never receive your name, email address, Apple ID, billing address, or payment card details. The Application receives from Apple only an anonymous signal indicating whether an active subscription exists on the device; this signal is not linked to your identity and is not combined with your drink records.

Apple's processing of your purchase is governed by Apple's own privacy policy: https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/

We receive from Apple only aggregated, anonymous sales reports (for example, the number of subscriptions sold in a country). These reports do not identify individual customers.

Crash reports and diagnostics

If you have enabled *Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements → Share With App Developers* on your device, Apple may make aggregated crash and performance data available to us through Apple's developer tools.

This data is collected by Apple, not by us. It is not linked to your identity and cannot be connected to your drink records. You can turn this off at any time in iOS Settings.

Exporting your data

The Application can generate an export file containing your records. The file is created on your device, at your request, and you choose where to send or store it. We do not receive a copy.

Data retention and deletion

Because your data exists only on your device, we hold nothing to retain or delete.

Deleting the Application from your device deletes all records it stored. If you have enabled iCloud or iTunes device backups, a copy of the Application's data may be included in those backups; backups are managed by Apple under Apple's terms and privacy policy, and you can manage or delete them in iOS Settings.

International data transfers

None. No data is transmitted from your device by the Application, so there are no international transfers of personal data by us.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, to object to or restrict its processing, and to withdraw consent. Residents of California have rights under the CCPA/CPRA to know what personal information is collected, to delete it, to opt out of its sale or sharing, and to non-discrimination for exercising those rights.

We hold no personal data about you, so there is nothing for us to disclose, correct, export, or delete. You exercise these rights directly on your device: you can view, edit, export, and delete your records inside the Application, and delete the Application to remove all of them.

We do not sell or share personal information, and we never have. We do not use your information for marketing, and we do not send marketing communications.

If you have questions about this, write to us at AlcoStatApp@gmail.com.

Age

AlcoStat is intended for adults of legal drinking age in their jurisdiction and is age-rated accordingly on the App Store. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone — including children — because we do not collect information at all.

Security

Your data is protected by the security of your own device: the Application relies on iOS file protection and the device passcode, Face ID, or Touch ID. We recommend keeping a passcode enabled and your device updated. Because no data reaches us, there is no server-side store that could be breached.

Legal disclosure

We hold no personal data about you, so there is nothing we could disclose in response to a subpoena, court order, or government request.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. Material changes will be published on this page with a new effective date. Previous versions are available on request at AlcoStatApp@gmail.com.
